When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

 

SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY

 

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

 

Payment:

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

All the prices are VAT inclusive. We accept payment by credit or debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Visa Electron) and PayPal. All the processed information are  secured, the money is only captured when the goods are shipped.

SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

SECTION 6 - SECURITY

 

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

_shopify_visit, no data held, Persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit, Used by our website provider’s internal stats tracker to record the number of visits

_shopify_uniq, no data held, expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day, Counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.

storefront_digest, unique token, indefinite If the shop has a password, this is used to determine if the current visitor has access.

 

SECTION 8 - AGE OF CONSENT

 

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

SECTION 9 - RETURNS

If you need to return or exchange your item because you have received an incorrect, damaged or faulty product, please send the item back to us via Royal Mail registered post, with the returns form enclosed. Our return policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange for unopened items. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. In addition, you will need to send an email to our customer care team on sales@dropcbd.co.uk in next 14 days from the date the goods are delivered, attaching a photo of the product and invoice, along with proof of postage (tracking details), so that we may process your return or exchange in a timely manner. After that you have 14 days to ship the goods back. We cannot refund any opened items unless they are damaged or faulty.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, usually within 3-5 working days.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you have done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at sales@dropcbd.co.uk.

We do not take responsibility for fees due to custom and excise, importation delays or any other customs related problems. We will also not refund any costs incurred from international orders. If you are ordering your product to be sent to a country outside of the UK, please first check that country's regulations on the product. For all international orders, you will be liable for any duties and taxes charged in the country of delivery. Additionally, we cannot be held liable for products seized by authorities outside of the UK, thus will not offer refunds in this case as international orders are to be made at your discretion.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless the item is incorrect, damaged or faulty, in which case the return shipping cost will be credited to you. The initial shipping costs are non-refundable. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. If you are shipping an item over 50EUR, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

SECTION 10 - CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.

Fast delivery of orders is as important to us as it is for our customers - that’s why we cooperate with several different warehouses, as well as the best fulfillment and delivery services when shipping our orders, to provide the best service to our customers.

We ship our orders from multiple warehouses across the EU which allows us to ensure high customer satisfaction and deliver all of the orders as soon as possible.

You will be informed when your order has been shipped via email with a dispatch period of 1-3 days is necessary during normal operations. Under busy periods this period may be extended to one week. If you reside in the United Kingdom, you order will be delivered within 1-2 working days after your order has been accepted by the courier. International shipments may take up to 14 days to arrive after the order has been accepted by the courier.
